Если понравился Disturbed, советую еще погонять Skillet, Godsmack.
Про Sabaton, Nightwish, Powerwolf, Within Temptation согласен.
Там, на самом деле, очень много хороших коллективов, если смотреть жанрово шире.
Та же Amaranth великолепна, хотя и с примесями Modern Melodic Death Metal.

Вообще, мой путь в Melodic Death Metal начался с обалденных Scar Symmetry с Кристианом Альвестамом на вокале. Две песни:
Deviate from the Form и The Illusionist с альбома Pitch Black Progress.
Потом уже проникся Scat Symmetry, Soilwork, Dead by Arpil, Solution.45 (когда Scar Symmetry раскололась), Sybreed, Raintime, etc…

Ну, те ребята, которых я накидал выше, можно сильнее всего ассоциировать с Power Metal / Metal ;)
У тебя более широкий и более экстремальный список в последнем сообщении получился)

Потому и не стал их вываливать. А то, возьмём первых по списку: услышит Ablaze My Sorrow — Send The Ninth Plague, или ещё жёстче — Symbolic — Everlasting, то рядовой человек испугается и сразу забьёт на жанр (сам таким был лет 10 назад).
Потому я и начал с весьма демократичных по звучанию Dethklok, постепенно, по нарастающей к Cradle Of Filth.

Ну и чтобы не оффтопить лишний раз — взял на заметку твой список ниже. Спасибо. Пройдусь. Дискографий 220 групп в моей библиотеке уже не хватает ;)

В свое время вкатил Dimmu Borgir, чего от себя не ожидал, т.к. до этого я смотрел на это с пренебрежением и называл это «рыгаловом» XD
П.С. пока пишу слушаю самонниг :) Первая композиция очень приятная, будемс дальше изучать
