Because this game is old, it only has old players who are dedicated to it and its community - who enjoy the game and the people in it - who care about the comfort of the game.
I played it a year ago; it was my first experience with military simulators and the best team-based game I've ever played, primarily thanks to the players. Everyone understands that the game mechanics are complex and is willing to help. Speaking of mechanics, they are truly complex, from helicopter control skills to teamwork and proper roleplaying. Victory depends not only on your actions, but also on the actions of your team and other teams on your side. Play as a team and this game will reveal itself in all its glory.
The online is small, and it feels like the engine is seriously constraining the developers, but the developers still support the game, well done. https://forum.realitymod.com/viewtopic.php?t=155931 The last patch was released on April 1, 2025 (six months ago).
There's only one Russian server [RU] TikTokWar, I remember that well. There was an interesting story with that server. It was frequently attacked by DDoS attacks, making it impossible to play, but we didn't despair, and whole squads, sometimes two squads, would move to German server))). I think it was 'SSG'.
We had a Discord server (Volki), everyone had fun, sharing problems and joys in the evenings. There we met new people. I remember editing videos with one guy (smetan4ka).
I remember spending hours on the official website reading manuals. A friend and I would log into a test server where you could practice controlling vehicles and try to fly fighter jets together.("TestField" sa far as i rememder) I read Wikipedia, Googled information about military vehicles, weapons, ammunition, and so on. This truly sparked my interest in military matters. Even now, I remember mortar shells being called PRX (for approach) and IM (for immediate).
To sum it up, I want to say that PR is an interesting experience, but not an easy one. For me, this game remains a warm memory.
